Having discovered your writings quit by accident, I wondered, "Who *is* this person...?" Then, upon reading more I found my fascination had not abated, but extended.
And then, four years ago, you wrote about depression, and pain, and suicide. Then, nothing.
Although I still do not really know you, I do hope that 2014 contained enough to retain some spark of hope. I just really want for you to be okay, because I really appreciate and admire your creative mind.
I do hope that you're okay.

"quit" ought to be "quite." Predictive text would have had me write:
"Hazing disc hovered you're works quit by Ailey..."

I also stumbled onto this blog quite accidentally - as far as I can tell, this is the only place to find the lyrics to the wonderful Chris Smither song "Don't It Drag On," which has become my unexpected pandemic anthem. Why it's not as famous as anything Prine or Nick Drake or any other wonderful fingerpicker ever put to tape is beyond me.
