Five songs that make me want to be a director just so I can make a movie to put these into it.
5. "Please Call Me, Baby" - Tom Waits
(note, this was used in Keeping the Faith, but still, want to use it myself)
4. "Don't Forget to Miss Me" - Harry Manx
3. "Running Song" - Aliotta, Haynes and Jeremiah
2. "Blues On a Holiday" - either the Susan Tedeschi or Paul Rishell version
1. "Farm in New Hampshire" - Louis Ledford (comp. Robert Blake)
Honorable mentions: "A Little Cruel" by Harry Manx, "One Kind Word" by Geoff Bartley, "Poor Little Robin" by Michael Johnson, "Perfect Ones Who Break" by William Lee Ellis

I've always wanted to use Waits' version of the Ramones Return of Jackie and Judy.
In my mind, it's an intro shot. Screen is black, only the song is heard. Slowly, screen fades into view on a jukebox (alternatively: a hanging speaker).
Camera pans out to show a pool hall, where we meet two main characters, shooting a game of pool and having conversation.
